Mollie Rose to the vet

Mollie Rose hasn't been acting right lately. This morning she was at the kitty fountain yowling. Then she laid down in front of it, labored breathing. She has an appointment today at 10:45. I checked to see if she was dehydrated, by pulling her scruff up to see if it went back down. It didn't. I can't understand this because she does drink alot of water.

Please, say a prayer for my heart kitty. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old and my heart aches to think I may lose her.

I'll post when I get back from the vet.

Mollie Rose is spending the night at the vet. She is dehydrated so they'll be doing sub Q fluids. They've sent blood work out so I won't know anything till tomorrow morning at nine. The vet said that since her last visit in October, 2008, she's lost 4 pounds. Not a good sign. He said she is not in any pain, but she is showing signs of renal failure. I asked him if it can be reversed if caught in time and he said no.

So, tonight I won't be getting much sleep. I usually sleep with MR every night "spooning" with her head resting in my hand. It just won't be the same.
