Some new pics of our female stork (new pic #11)
Been a while that I met the female stork, the "widow", so to speak, in the fields, but a couple of days ago, I saw her in a meadow. Maybe you remember that I posted a while ago about the death of the male stork, and the loss of their babies as a result of the tragic accident: One of our storks is dead :(
Anyway, here're female, who is now spending the summer on her own, without a family to care for:

My camera doesn't take such great photos on that distance, but at least you'll get an idea of what an impressive bird she is! And you can study the way she's walking, which looks kinda funny. :)
