Madison, AL Kitten Needs Rehabilitation
The Cat Hospital in Madison, AL has a 12-week old kitten that was hit by a car last week. Dr. Gandy has been watching her and working with her, but she is still unable to go to the bathroom without expression of the bladder and anus. Is there ANYONE out there who has experience rehabilitating kitties with broken pelvises and can take this baby and help her get well? If so, please contact me at [email protected]
Fabulous News About Karma
I am so excited to let everyone know Karma has improved beyond what was expected; it always astounds and inspires me how animals do that. Dr. Gandy just didn't have the heart to put her to sleep and kept working with her. As of this post she is up walking, standing on her hind feet with front feet batting at visitors, and just as sweet and talkative a kitten as you have seen. She is still working with pooping in the litter pan; but - she is pooping by herself!
Karma is an adorable medium- to long-haired tabby. She has this sweet face that just pulls people to her.
Thanks for all the posts and kitty prayers. Keep them up for this sweet baby.

28 August 2009 Update on Karma
Each time I am at The Cat Hospital Karma has further improved. She is now using the litter pan very well and pooping like she should. She is also healed to the point where her energy and acrobatic feline activities make it hard to believe what this precious little girl has been through. She talks up a storm, runs her motor very loudly, and loves to play with the clinic cats Inky and Pablo. It's not unusual to see her darting from room to room and sliding across the floor! Dr. Gandy has her up for adoption and she is going to make someone the perfect cat!
