If you call this "do not call" number, your cellphone will be off limits to telemarketers. Call 888-382-1222 and follow the prompts. It gives you 5 years of no telemarketers. If they DO call, you have the right to file a complaint, providing you get the name of the company they're calling for. My feeling is they'll hang up on your sorry @$$ when asked that question.

:) Gosh I dont remember what number I called.. But I called a number & registered my cell to be off limits & blocked from telemarketers.. I did it like 4 months ago..

I too got that in an email a while back, checked on snopes and found the same info, it isn't true.
