What the Brazil and other rescuers are up against

When I heard on the news they had found part of the tail of Air France 447, of course I thought it might be big. But this pic really showed me just some of what these dedicated and no doubt exhausted and even grieving people are up against:

Last I heard, 24 bodies had been recovered; they have to be id'd forensically.
