New here--Intro

Hi everyone,
I just found this board and wanted to introduce myself and my crew. I live in Canada's far north with my hubby and currently 11 dogs and six cats (Glacier, Pete, Dominique, Ivy, Polly Paws, & Onyx) . The dogs: Four siberian Huskies--Muskwa, Earle, Hoodoo, and Bandit, three alaskan huskies, mutts, husky mixes (whichever term you prefer;) ) Preacher, Franklin, Sleet and one malamute-mix, Kayleigh. As well we currently have three foster dogs, all husky crosses--Goldie, Delta and Antare. We foster for our local humane society. They have great website at:

We are involved in dog sledding & skijoring, but not competively yet. Maybe someday.

Happy to meet you!! We have several Canadian PT members!!That's one big, beautiful family you have there!:) And you even have room left in your heart and your home for fosters. That's fantastic!! I have a Red Siberian Husky cross named Cody. I also have a yellow Lab named Star, as well as 2 kitties, Mr. B and Oliver and 2 guinea pigs, Squeekers and Moonbeam. Hey Nice to see you too....guess what? Ol' Joe that we were going to foster/adopt got adopted! The reporter who wrote his story for the local paper fell in love and took him home:D So I DO NOT have more dogs than you anymore!! Now we are tied again! and if I can avoid the Humane Society it should stay that way for awhile LOL

Hi Glacier and welcome to PetTalk, my goodness how do you remember everybody's name? LOL You have a wonderful crew there. Our home has two Mini Schnauzers, Miss Daisy and Perry who are the light of our lives, but true terrier terrors.
Glad you joined and I know you will enjoy being here with really nice people and everybody has wonderful pets.

My husband and I have 16 rescue dogs and 1 possibly 2 Husky mixes. One is a Chow mix and the other is definitely 1/2 Husky and 1/2 Pit.
