Explosion!

Something exploded across the street from my house about an hour and a half ago. The news doesn't have anything on it right now but hopefully there will be something on it tomorrow.
No one was hurt it looks like and other than waking me up there was no harm done. Really scary though!

Geez now Im wide awake...right before work too *sigh*

Last year sometime we had a transformer blow up one block over. It was SO loud! My husband said it sounded like a mortar shell :eek:

I've heard a few blown transformers here too. Loud as all get out, but the power never even blinks:confused:
