Tornado closet fun!

Hey guys! I know I havent posted in a while, but I had to post these pics. We had tornado warnings all day, so we have been in and out of the "tornado closet" (closet under the stairs) Being from NYC my animals are NOT used to this. The kitties did really well for being locked in a closet with 2 big dogs...AND myself

I wasn't at my house during the tornadoes here all day. I talked to my mom and she was in town. Later she called me and said that she came over and got the dog and Morgan into the bathroom. She said Morgan was NOT happy and he screeched the entire time.

Gosh, I know how scary that can be. Your cats in the closet pictures cracked me up, it looks like they are asking "Hay Mom! What's up? You and us been bad and we getting punished.... what'd YOU do?" :eek:

Pics are great! Do any of your pets get scared when there are storms? I have a friend in Alabama who has a Yellow Lab that she has to medicate. They have a hallway they go to.

Dale doesnt like thunder, he passed the worst gas when we were in that closet, I guess cause he was nervous. The thunder was so loud it shook the house several times. I do what trainers recommend and ignore the behavior, and try and do fun things during storms, but when you are in a closet, the dog knows fun time is over! LOL

How scary that must have been! Great pictures of your furcrew. I'm relieved to know everyone is okay!

I have always read that cats and dogs are "early warning" devises for weather events.
