I question this tests validity, based on the fact that it asks questions based on whats going on in THIS country. I doubt there is a government plot to exterminate an entire race...

If there was I would fight against it. Somehow this test seemed a bit off.

Edit: I scored atypical German. What did you have to answer to score in the resistance category out of curiosity? (PM as to not spoil the test for others)

The Everyday German

Had you lived in Germany in the 1930s, you'd have probably just gone along with the flow. Men with guns are surrounding the house next door? The bagel place on the corner's gone? Hmm...whatever.

The data show you're a decent person who's willing to listen to what people of authority tell you. That's what most people are, and in most times and most places, that's ok. But not then; not there.

Haven't taken the test yet, but thought I'd share some info from my friend Liesel. Liesel was a Nazi. She didn't believe the BS, but if she wanted to work and feed her family, she was required to join the Nazi party. During the war, she worked as a translator for the Nazi's since she spoke English, French and Russian as well as German. Her mother was killed when the Allies bombed her town.

The Nazi's transported her to Russia and when they lost the war she had to walk back home to Germany. She married an American and has lived happily in Texas since 1948.

She readily admits she was a member of the Nazi party. She felt she had to be to survive. She has told me that a lot of people espoused the Nazi BS just to survive -- but they really didn't believe it.

Lots of the questions didn't have answers I felt matched how I felt. I don't think any simple test can determine whether or how good of a Nazi you would have been or not been, but it is just a silly Internet thing.

I always approach any test found on the 'net as fun and harmless. I mean, how can anyone do a test to measure your background with questions that you cannot answer truthfully?:confused:
