I Think Maggie's Sick!

She was whining a lot last night for no reason, and looked really lethargic (according to my brother, I didn't notice). But today, she still seems lethargic and has only eaten a few kibble pieces I've hand fed her, and about 10 mins. ago she threw up nothing but water twice.

We're currently trying to switch her from Science Diet to Kirkland dog food... could this be the reason she's acting this way? Should we stop the switch?

My dad is trying to get out of taking her to the vet (he always does this, that's why my rat has a permanent head tilt :mad:). I want to know if we should stop the food switch or just take her to the vet ASAP.

Get her to the Vet.

I would get her to the vet ASAP. maybe she's having a bad reaction to the food you're feeding her? Only a vet can rule that out so I would definately take her to the vet.

Oh, sorry, I forgot about this thread. She's back to normal, hasn't thrown up, and has her appetite back!

That's good. Glad to hear it! It's always so worrisome when a pet is sick!

I'm so glad she's feeling better! :)

Yeah, it was weird how it only lasted that one day... and the night before. but the next day she was perfectly fine and back to normal.
