i need prayers please

I know I'm not on here a lot anymore, but I know PT prayers are powerful. I'm a dog groomer and one of my co-workers is named linda. Her husband was diagnosed in september with lung cancer. They removed it and he was fine up until about a month ago. The cancer is back and has spread rapidly. We got word today that they have given him only a week to live.
I feel sick to my stomach. We all love linda dearly, and we can't imagine the pain she is in right now. Linda and jade (her husband) just got married 5 months ago and now he might not be around for long. Chances are he won't get through it this time, but all I'm asking is you pray for him to be pain-free and happy and for linda to have strength and hope for jade. We love them both dearly, so please keep jade in your prayers.

We will keep you and your friend in our prayers. Lung cancer is horrible and scary, in whatever form.

Just thought I'd update this and let you all know that Jade passed away on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14th.

His battle is over. He's pain-free and Linda seems to be doing well. He knew he wasn't going to be around long, so while paralyzed from the waist down in the hospital, he got together with his brother and had his brother buy Linda her Valentine's Day gift. He got her a beautiful necklace/bracelet/earring set with, you guessed it, a jade stone.

Rest in peace, Jade. We love you.

Awwww, I have LES. :( That is so sad for Linda and the whole family. My friends FIL passed away on Valentines Day in 2006 and that holiday is not the same for them anymore.

Oh, I'm so sorry. My deepest sympathy to Linda and her family. Rest in peace, Jade, you are well loved.

I'm just now seeing this. I'm sad to hear of Jade's passing but glad that all physical pain is over. Now the healing for Linda begins and prayers are going up that the good memories, though brief, will be a comfort to her during her grief.
