Hilarious Internet Dating Typo...

It happened to me! Poor guy was so embarrassed!

I finally decided that if I was going to actually date anyone, I better 'put it out to the universe'. So I paid actual money on an internet dating site I have used so I could send emails to guys that were interested.

One of the men had sent me an email. He is SO handsome I was surprised he emailed me. Of course, it's VERY early days yet, and he lives in the USA. However, we did start chatting on Yahoo Messenger.

Things were going along ok - and at one point he typed, "I would really like to get alone with you."

YIKES! I hesitated, and ventured to type, "Umm....on the Internet?"

There was a pause. Then he wrote, "I meant I want to get along with you."

One wee letter...LOL. :)

Hee hee - getting along should come first! :) Nice that he corrected that!

As a bit of encouragement, the woman I bought my business from sold it because she met a man on the internet, and was moving to live with him. I just got a Christmas card from her this year, and they are still going strong, fourteen years later. :)

Count me in as another internet dater who met her hubby. My boss met his wife online and a coworker is in a nice little relationship with a guy she met online. Keep us updated on how it goes.:)
