THe Computor Rack. Or why I did the flooring.

Ive been wanting to redo my computor rack for a while and is the reason I replaced the carpet for laminate flooring, link.

Once I get all the hardware where I want it Ill go through and make all the cables nice and neat with zip ties.

Im still trying to get the far left monitor to work again, it stopped working on 01/20/09, go figure.

ETA: Not 2 minutes after I posted this I got the far left monitor working, again go figure.

I see no dog in these photos - have they been in the room yet? What do they think of the slippery new flooring? ;)

Four monitors? Why so many?

Its actually 5 monitors, 3 on the main comp and 2 on the secondary comp. Its all part of my ADD.

Verde wouldnt step foot in here from when I started tearing out the carpet yesterday till this morning.

Blue looked confused the entire time from when I started moving stuff out of the room to do the flooring and moving the racks and computors back in. He didnt like stepping on the padding for the flooring but he would come in and sniff around.

When the room was about half done and there was saw dust everywhere Blue couldnt stand on the new floor, but he would still come in and sniff around while slipping and sliding.

I put some blankets down for the dogs and Blue is hogging both of them and Verde is out on the couch.

Hee hee - good to see the room has now been approved by both the canine and feline contingent!

Moved a thing or 2 around, swapped out a monitor, and added a couple of displays.

Oh I didn't mean it like that...just the beer sign and guns and bottles...just giving you a bad time. Guns don't bother me, I had one and learned to fire it before I had kids.

Ive got a Strohs neon sign in here as well as a Genesee mirror to go with the Hamms mirror. I just hate the noise the neon sign makes.
