Godspeed Ozzy
I am not sure if people remember, but I fostered 2 cats for a soldier while he served as part of the surge in Iraq. There names were Ozzy and Layla

I had both of them for over a year so obviously I grew to love them. While Ozzy was with me he was diagnosed with CRF but he did okay. I found out today that Ozzy went to the RB last night. About two weeks ago he started to go down hill and stopped eating. Last night he went to join Emily and all of our other loved ones at the RB :(
Ozzy you are now young and healthy again. Know that you were deeply loved down here and now go run and play with everyone else until we meet again :(

Rest in peace, dear Ozzy. You had so much love and grace to share that it touched not one but two households, and all of us. Watch over your solider from the Rainbow Bridge, okay. Purr to him softly in his dreams to let him know you'll always be there for him.

I do remember you fostering these two beauties. I am so sorry to hear about Ozzy. I remember thinking he was gorgeous at the time, and I am sorry to hear that he has left us.
Rest in peace Sweetheart.

I m very sorry to read of this. That person must have been so thrilled that you took good care of the cats, so he could be reunited with them for a time on his return!

That darned CRF! It takes more sweet cats. I'm sorry about Ozzy. It just isn't fair but he was loved by you and others, so take comfort in that. RIP, Ozzy and peace to you.

It was sad to read your post. First, you did a really good thing to foster Ozzy while he owner was in Iraq. Ozzy will always appreciate how well you cared for him during his stay with you. Sleep softly, dear Ozzy....

Take care and hugs to you and your family,
