Is Akito Japanese for "lucky"?

Because you certainly are a lucky boy, surviving that dumping by the road :mad: and finding your forever family! As always, I'm so digusted with "people" (I use the term loosely) who throw out cats like garbage! Thank you for rescuing such a wonderful, handsome kitty and taking him into your hearts and home. I recently read that orange tabby boys like Akito for some reason make the very best pets, and I can see that this is entirely true.
