meet Hiya and Cheeto!
well we went to our local aquarium societys auction today, they only hold 2 a year that are open to the public, we went to see if we could get any deals on fish tanks for the gerbils, but all they had for any kind of "deal" was 10 gallons and those are too small. I did however get 2 Betta's! these are from actual fish breeders, not a petstore so they are very nice. I bid on and won a gorgous blue crown tail I am calling "Cheeto" and a beautiful young bluish greenish boy named "Hiya" .

Beautiful bettas!:) I wish I had a better place to buy bettas nearer to me.

Cheeto and Hiya are beautiful.
Is Hiya a young male or is he a PK tail?
-
Hiya is just a young male :)

What gorgeous boys , congrats.

That is really cool. We have Betas in my classroom. My future mother in law has a few fish and a water frog. She talks to them and they follow her when she walks by.

They are stunning!
Are you certain that Hiya is male? I think I see an eggspot which could mean nothing but the finnage doesn't look very male-ish....just a thought. ;)

Hiya is 100% male from a show Betta breeder, he is just young.
