I finally have a bit of time to share some pix of my beautiful boy! The doctor is still a bit concerned about his weight (he isnt gaining as fast as he should be but he is still gaining though) but other than that all is well!

Nick is just precious! Such a cute little baby.:)

You're gonna think I'm nuts but Nick looks like my son when he was born! I was shocked when I saw this. So, needless to say, Nick is adorable. LOL Not to take anything away from your beautiful boy; just thought that the comparison is uncanny. If I can scan properly, I'll see if I can post the pic of my son at that age. Please don't think I'm trying to steal your thunder. I'm just amazed at this.

He looks like a BIG boy and the doctor is concerned about him not gaining enough weight? He sure is a cutie! Congtatulations on your new baby!

No worries! Its neat to compare "notes" as it were with any moms! Its one of the many things I enjoy about being a parent :D I would love to see pictures of your boy!

He actually lost some weight while he was in the hospital...he was born at 9 lbs and went down to 8 lbs 5 oz in the hospital and then bounced back to about 8 lbs 12 oz when he came home on the 2nd. The doctor wieghed him on the 5th and he was 8 lbs 15 oz and then he was weighed again last friday and he was back up to 9lbs. The doctor says he should be gaining an oz a day, not one per week so we are going in wed to have him checked again. The Dr sugested feeding more often so we are going with that for now, if he isnt gaining more Im not sure what to do. He is healthy in all other respects though and he eats quite well. John had this problem when he was a baby too so its something we were prepared to deal with...still doesn't make it less of a worry though!
