RIP Manning
Manning was a character. My brothers’ ex-girlfriend found Manning in a town by that name (either NC or SC) back around 1996. Manning came to live in Houston with my brother in the summer of 1997. She was a chow mix, a reddish color, and maybe 35 lbs. When I lived with my brother after my ex-dh and I split up, she was a good companion. My Chihuahua, Tater Tot, and Manning would play constantly. She was tolerant, that’s for sure.
Manning had a rough life. She was plagued by allergies (much like my Oreo) and chewed herself raw on many occasions. In the last few years, she had a big tumor removed from under her muzzle. It was cancerous. She couldn’t get around all that well, but still loved seeing my nieces.
Manning crossed over to the RB Saturday morning, September 6th. My nieces are pretty upset. My brother is too.
Play happy and free at the bridge sweet girl. Tater Tot is there to show you around, he’s been waiting for you for 4 ½ years.

Manning, what a nice tribute your auntie has written for you! Sounds like you are a gentle soul, and now you are healthy, happy and running free at Rainbow Bridge.
{HUGS} to your family. They miss you. I know you will watch over them, and be there to greet them on that day in the future hen all are reunited.

RIP Manning. Your family misses you, sweetie. But I am sure that Tater Tot was waiting for you with wagging tail.

Thanks, everyone. I thought I had some pictures of Manning on my computer but I don't.
She was so pretty. She was a happy girl, too. Always happy to see you (unless she didn't know you) and was a lapdog, or tried to be.
