Micheal Douglas plays "President" Andrew Shepard. With West Wing "hero" Martin Sheen playing his Chief of Staff.
Typical Hollywood take on things. Democrats are the heros and Republicans are the evil asshats.
The whole, "and I will get the guns" line made me shiver. When I watched it the first time, I thought... "Come and get them, I DARE you." LOL

RICHARD, I go back to the 30s and 40s. Raymond Massey played Abraham Lincoln in four different movies, the most famous was "Abe Lincoln in Illinois"

Who could forget Independence Day where Bill Pullman plays the president? I can't remember the character's name since it's been so long since I've seen it. :)
Mars Attacks! - Jack Nicholson. He played two parts in the movie.
Who can forget Peter Sellers in "Dr. Strangelove" where he played three parts including the U.S. President?!
