Ruth and Eragon pictures

I know many are curious about my new little boys from my vet thread. So here are some pictures. They are red point(or flame point) siamese kittens. Both males, 5 months old and I got them from a breeder. First time I ever got a cat from a breeder.

My daughter named them. Eragon after the blue dragon in the movie and Ruth after the white dragon in the Pern books by Anne McCaffrey.

Both have totally different personalities. Ruth who wears only black collars, harnesses and so on is extremely friendly and easy going. He is still getting used to the dogs but has been fine with them from the start. Even when they give him kisses. He is hard to get photos of because he loves attention so much getting him to sit still and look into a camera can be very hard.

Eragon is the opposite so far. He wears purple collars and harnesses. Doing this helps us to tell them apart since they look so a like. He has no patience for the dogs so they usually give him his space once they great both of them in the morning. He will allow you to pet him but he does not like to be held yet or sit on laps. After usually 10 minutes of petting you might be lucky enough to hear him purr and get some kisses but he is very picky on who he will do this for.

They are a very much welcome addition to our home. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Eragon in his favorite spot upstairs. Sleeping in the house on the tall cat tree. He was not impressed to be woken up as you can see.

Yes, the blue dragon's name was Sapphira in the Eragon book, but Eragon is a fine name for a boy kitty! Handsome guys you have there, thanks for sharing. What do the dogs think of these new guys?

THey adore Ruth. Simply because he has no problems with the dogs except when they get excited and are tussling together then he high tails it to the top of the cat tree. And they give Eragon his space but whine a lot about not being able to kiss him or sniff him. I think given a while longer these boys will be very bonded to the dogs. My dogs like to share everything with the cats(food, bones, treats, toys) I think they missed that.

They are so lovely now but will grow into some real beauties.. Can't wait to see them grown! Two real beauties now and then...

I have a Flame Point Siamese Mix named Starr and he can be very feisty at times. He'll only let me pick him up and he loves to sit on my lap.:)
