Pretty Kitty, you will be greatly missed.

Today was a sad day at work. One of our resident hospital cats Pretty Kitty had to be put to sleep today. She'd been having heart problems, but today she had a blood clot in the leg and was paralyized from the hips down.

She will be greatly missed.

I'd have to check Pretty Kitty's file for sure but I believe her guesstimated age was 13-14 years. She was such a wonderful kitty. When you'd pick her up she would wrap a paw around each side of your neck like a hug and if she wanted attention she would poke you and give you head bumps.

And yes they do become part of the family. I cried almost as hard over her as I did when I lost Dusty. I gave the other hospital cats a good cheek scratching and came home and gave each of my own kitties a good hug and lots of kisses.

I'm gonna miss Pretty Kitty, she was a very loving and friendly tortie to everyone she met.

I'm so sorry to hear this.:( She sure was a gorgeous cat and it sounds like she touched many peoples lives. Her wonderful memories will live on. RIP sweet girl.:(

AND NOW PRETTY KITTY HAS TO TAKE THE WALK THAT WE WILL ONE DAY ALL HAVE TO TAKE, ALONG THE RAINBOW BRIDGE.:eek:
BUT THERE ARE ANGELS EVERYWHERE TO CHEER US , AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE SOON WILL BE IN PARADISE , AND SEE ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AGAIN, BOTH HUMAN AND PET.:love::love:
