going camping

we're going camping in two weeks and I'd like to know what the best tick preventative is. I have a golden which is very hairy, so I don't even know if I would find a tick on him. If I use tick preventative within the next week will it be effective by the time we go? I don't suppose there are any tick preventatives that work that can be bought at the store.:)

Maybe just call your vet's office and ask? :)

I have some spray I use on them right before we leave and while we are there it is called ovitrol, you can get it in a veterinarian office.

I use Frontline with my two. :)
