Jake

Jake went to the bridge today, with help from our wonderful vet. We were home, it was peaceful, but clearly time. For those who didn't read the prior posts, he had hemangiosarcoma, and we had 3 1/2 wonderful weeks where he was comfortable and able to do the things he loved and for us to spoil him after his diagnosis.

He was very loved, and will be very missed. Hopefully he is running in the snow and crashing in the waves.

Awww, have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, Golden one! You go ahead, and look for a lovely Golden Girl named Carina - she'll likely be with several other Pet Talk Goldens who are now up there, and they can show you around, okay?

I am glad Jake had a peaceful end, though I am sure you are very sad right now, he will always be with you.

I am so sorry for your loss, you and Jake are in my thoughts and prayers. This is the hardest decision I think anyone has to make, but take comfort in the fact that he is in a much better place now, pain and suffering free!

I also am glad you had some good days with Jake - that photo of him running and grinning from several weeks ago - I hope you get those framed. They are good memories of a very loved doggie. :love:

I'm so sorry to hear the news about your beloved Jake. My daughter's Golden boy is also named Jake. They look very much alike. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Handsome, spectacular Jake... run free and play hard! There are many awesome PT pets at the Bridge, to meet and greet you. Keep looking after your family, who will always love you and miss you terribly. Thank you for making their lives a blessing. We'll miss you, boy, and will never forget you.

I am so sorry to hear about, Jake. Sassy went to the RB today too. I hope Sassy and Jake are new friends up their togather.
