For the past few weeks the animal shelter has had no choice but to put nursing moms and their kittens on the euthanasia list. That's right, whole litters of newborn kittens and their mothers are being euthanized, not because they're sick, not because they're vicious but because there is just no more space! How sad is that? But this terrible situation can be avoided but only with your help. All we need is a few weeks committment and a quiet space for Momma and her babies and you will save not one but multiple lives! How wonderful would that be?! You will be supplied with food and litter. All you have to do is feed Momma, she will take care of her babies.

I know that many of you can't take in any more animals but I also know that some of you are afraid of becoming attached. I've been there, I know how you feel but please think about it. You will truly be saving lives. I will answer any questions you have and if you decide to do this I will help you the whole time.

Please forward this letter to as many people as you know. We need all the help we can get.

I'm too far away to make a difference but prayer knows no distance, so I'm on this one, too.....

We have a friend in Maria Milito on 104.3 in N.Y. I have e-mailed her and she has already put the call for help on the radio station site. I hope the this helps save these babies.

I will forward this to everyone I know. I wish I could help so badly.

So do I but with the Crew the house is over flowing with furbatude. I have contacted some of my friends so the word is getting out. Very often Maria at 104.3 announces these things on the air.

I would LOVE to help, but we are leaving in a few weeks. Once I get to Michigan and buy a house I am DEFINATELY going to foster!! Prayers for these kitties!
