I love that cake. I made it once and it totally disgusted a few people.
Hint? Buy different sized Tootsie Rolls and roll them in between you hands to get them soft. It's more work, but you don't have to keep warming them up.
Heh, I wonder who would eat one of those....
I made this cake a few years ago for Halloween. Everyone loved it. Although it did not get eaten. LOL But it looked crazy!!
Then last year a woman at my work made one and was dressed up as a cat. LOL
Here is a pic of the one I made. :)
I've made it a few times. Always a hit and it really does taste wonderful!
It may look disgusting, but boy is it decadent!!!!
Hey,
I wonder if that guy on the Food Channel could make one as well as a PTer?;)
I gave a gift to a friend who was pregnant that is in the same vein. It was a diaper filled w/chocolate poop. She thought it was funny but couldn't eat the chocolate.
I made one many years ago on the occasion of my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, when all the family members gathered to celebrate.
Everyone loved it!
I love that cake, and have eaten it many times!! Yummy!!!!
Some co-workers and I made that when one of our long time employees, and major cat lover, left our office. It was actually pretty good. :D
I've seen pictures of it before, but have never seen one in person.
I don't know if I'd be able to eat it! :o
uch....that look's so gross! So funny.
They used to make that at the insurance co I used to work for. Be sure and spread some clear corn syrup over the tootsie rolls for a, um, fresher look! :D
It really did taste good! :D:D
