Happy May Day everyone!!!
Spring is breaking out here: lilacs just finishing up blooming but the iris and peonies are getting ready to. Plus, we have spring thunderstorms on the way for tonight.
It's in the 80s so grab a cold drink and chill! :D

Any pictures Moff? :) My peonies are about ready to bloom also.
I would love a cup of hot tea & a little garden party to look at the flowers.
Wonder where our barrista is? :)
We have lupines and poppies blooming here, and from the way my nose is reacting, just about everything else is blooming too *hachoo*
I'll take an nice cold Snapple iced tea. Happy May Day everyone!
A garden party? You mean with little gloves and a hat? Hmmm, I will have to think that over while I go look at all of the beautiful flowers. May I take my iced tea with me?

Yay, it's May! But according to the meteorologists we are supposed to get an April shower tomorrow. :|
Oh my....
It is May and I want to make everyone Mint Juleps.....You know that Saturday is the Kentucky Derby (horses 7 and 9) and I figured that MJs would be appropriate!

I have to say something about Gini.
She has Barbara Streisand growing in her backyard.

My dad had planted a few rose bushes years ago and in the last few weeks they have bloomed beautifully.

Hey, our daffodils and tulips are just blossoming up here - the hundreds of bulbs we planted in the church lawn last fall are in full, spectacular bloom! My peonies are only 6-inch-high sprouts at this point, and the lilacs just have dark, tiny, closed buds at this point - looking like miniature grape clusters.
So I'll have tea, please, my new rediscovered favorite is Ginger Peach Tea from the Republic of Tea - yummy stuff! I'll make a big pot to share if anyone else's Spring is still on the chilly side!
One Giant pot o' Ginger Peach Tea?Quote:

RICHARD, could I try a mint julep? Being up north in Pa. we don't usually have them. Everything is blooming on the golf course including unfortunatly the grass, (darn!) The azealas are blooming there as well as the apple blossoms.
Today is DJ's b-day....And Cinco de Mayo.....
Margaritas, chips, salsa and guacamole?
And a giant b-day cake too?
DONE?
Throw in a few tacos and you've got a deal!!! :D
Count me in, RICHARD! Happy birthday, DJF!
