Inhumane treatment for meat rabbits - Please help!

Help oppose rabbits being bred for "meat" and for those that are, advocate for more humane treatment. Right now, rabbits aren't even covered by the Humane Slaughter Act which requires that animals must be rendered unconscious before slaughter. Rabbits and birds that are considered livestock are exempted from this act. This means that the rabbit meat industry is unregulated and can legally slaughter these animals any way they chose.
