Oops, I did it again?

I don't know how this happened :rolleyes: One minute I was playing with the feeder rats evaluating who might be a good friend for Patron to learn some rattie social skills with, and the next this girl climbed right up to my shoulders and said "I'm ready when you are" and then she gave me rattie kisses. I may be strong enough to be able to play with feeder rats without taking them all home, but I'm a sucker for an animal who takes their fate into their own hands. I'm 90% set on the name Marli Tharn.

She may be pregnant. She weighs 300g today. If she starts gaining quickly I'll know for sure. I think the skiddish black rat in with her may have been a boy, I didn't get a close look at him/her.

Last night, pre-feeding, she weighed in at about 325g. My scale is not digital, so its not entirely accurate, but that's a big gain. I'm going to try and find info online about weight gain during pregnancy, maybe I can figure out how far along she could be with a 25g gain in 24 hours.
