I like that mat that you have the food bowl on. With the raised edge, does that help keep crumbs off your floor? As of now, I have all the food and water bowls on a towel on the floor. The kitties are messy eaters and I have kibble crumbs all over the place! Do you think bigger bowls and a mat for the bowls would work?

Yes, the mat really helps to keep my carpet clean. They are also messy eaters. I bought it at Petco but I'm sure that any pet store will have them. Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone. :)
