2 of her 3 cats snuggled up together. The grey and white shorthaired one is my kittens grandmother. She is semi feral and ran off as soon as I took the picture. Someone dumped her at my nana's house when she was pregnant.

What a little cutie! Does he have a name yet? Is he from a litter your Nana's dog had? I love long haired dachschunds!
-
His name is Hogan and he is 3 years old. He was given to my grandmother by his breeder that couldn't sell him because of his mouth. I am getting him because my grandmother is getting older and doesn't really want a dog in the house.

Hello, Hogan! It is very nice to meet you and your very pretty cat friends today! You look just like my upstairs dog-neighbor, Bailey. She is a black and tan dachsie, too! Could you please have your nana pet you for me?
Edited to ask: will the problem with Hogan's mouth affect his ability to eat?
-
Hogan sure likes having his picture taken doesn't he? ;)
He's VERY cute!
Wow, yes that sure us a severe underbite!

He does have a bit of a problem eating. He can only eat out of a deep full bowl of food. If a piece of food drops on the floor he usually can't get it. My nana has to brush his teeth or they develope lots of tartar. Other than his mouth he is very healthy cute and playful.

Oh Hogan, I LOVE long hair doxie's! I almost got that breed, until I found the bichon group. You are so lovable, that comes through in these photos. I am sorry that bite issue gives you some challenges. What a handsome 3 year old!
