I got information from the Missouri branch about other states that support the pet-friendly license plates, and he replied with this link:

Not sure how many would be interested in it, but I sure am, plates are up on my car and truck and these will be replacing both! Looks like there are many different styles available depending on what state you're in.
I have Pet Plates on one of my cars. i didn't open the link, but in Ohio it is an additional $25.

I have the TN Animal Friendly plates. I believe they are $35 extra and mine are personalized for another $35. $15.38 of the $35.00 additional fee is allocated to the Animal Population Control Endowment Fund. I've had them so long that the orange kitty on it has turned pale. I need to see if I can get another one with the same personalization or if it would be acceptable to paint it.
I am unsure of other states but I do know in Missouri the fee is $25 and $20 of that goes straight toward helping spay and neuter homeless pets. The other $5 obviously goes towards other fees, like making the plate, etc.Quote:
