I have either a late birthday or an early Chritmas present, I HAVE MY SETTLEMENT CHECK!! It came through today and my brother has it. I've never had that much money at one time! My lawyer will take his fee out of it tomorrow as my brother will hand it to him directly. The check is for $14,000 and I'll get $11,362.58. Say hello to a new HD tv and a new computer. Bye, bye Web tv!

Thank you, Sis. While I don't recommend being involved in a car accident to get extra money (LOL!), it's nice to have. I plan to get a brand new HD tv set, a new computer (so I can actually scan pictures!) and a new kitchen stove (for some reason my old stove stopped working after 25 years!).
