Gifts from Valerie

I got quite a surprise in the mail last week from Valerie (Dukedogsmom) who made me a beautiful hand painted bowl and sent me a portrait by Amanda (PT's manda_moo87) that she had done for me of Tommy, and a nice little book of comforting thoughts during the holidays. I just wanted to share a couple pictures of the bowl and the portrait. I treasure them very much Val, thank you so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

I also appreciate Amanda doing such a wonderful drawing of my boy. I knew exactly which picture she used as a reference.

The bowl is pretty, I love pawprints. ;) The drawing of Tommy is really nice. :)

What a lovely surprise to receive in your mail! You will really enjoy them-- er, I mean the dogs can enjoy the bowl while you enjoy the sketch. And knowing the folks involved in the creative side of each one, plus who made the effort to get them to you: priceless!
