Podge!
Because I just couldn't choose which dog I sponsored the 'mystery' one at Dogs Trust and the info just came through this morning. His name is Podge and, guess what, he is a Springer! What a co-incidence eh? :D Made my day. :D
This is his page.
Podge
I'll scan the certificate and post it when I get the scanner set back up.

What a wonderful thing to do, and a wonderful coincidence!!!!! :D
Chris, does this mean you help sponsor him until he finds a home?
-
Not wonderful really, I can't adopt or foster a dog and to me this is the next best thing. And no, it's not very likely Podge and his like will ever find a new home so I will try to keep sponsoring as long as needed.
From the Dogs Trust sponsor page(s)
Most of the dogs in our care find loving new homes, but some of them aren’t able to settle in a home environment because of health problems or because of their difficult pasts. Dogs Trust never, ever destroys a healthy dog so we will look after these dogs for the rest of their lives.
Here's the certificate.

Very cool!!! Podge looks like such a sweety! You are awsome for helping him out!:)

I think it's wonderful to sponsor a dog or cat. I believe Best Friends in
America also needs sponsors for animals who, for one reason or another,
are not adoptable. They give them the time & space to live out their lives
in peace.
Podge looks very happy in his picture. :)

I'm not surprised that it's a Springer:D
He looks like a lovely dog and sounds happy. Bless you for sponsoring him.
