Does anyone have one of these? If you do then how do you like them? What do you feed yours?
Interesting fish, but I don't own a big enough tank for one. They are carnivores like my sunfish though, and his favorite food is earthworms. After a good rain I always go out and get him a few.
We went and got 2 of these the other day. They are pretty cool; they guy there knew a lot about them and he told us all about them and how to care for them. they are pretty awesome
does anyone know how long they live? I have been to A LOT of web sites about them but can't find anything about that.
This page says 20+ years. Keep in mind its usually much less in aquariums. I'm not to thriled about the page though because they recommend a minimum 29 gallon tank and I found that even my 6" rainbow shark was crowded in an understocked 30 gallon. For a rope fish I'd think 75+ gallons is more ideal.

We named them Hank & Hannah. :)
