Creative solution ...
... kinda. :D
It's my youngest granddaughter's birthday tomorrow but although I have something to give her, a Dr Who DVD, I couldn't get to the shop to buy wrapping paper, so, I made this.

Unfortunately I only have A4 size paper and whilst one side may look ok ...

.. the other is a different story.

But still, it's the thought that counts. Isn't it? :D

I love it love it love it!!! It's thoughtful, personal and shows a lot more effort than a "store bought" generic card. Very nice :)

Er, excuse me, but WHAT is wrong with the back, again? I am the world's WORST wrapper; I have packages looking like that when using a ROLL of paper. Don't worry about it, she'll LOVE it!
-
I love it........ and I too do that often......... in any case they wonŽt look at the back side...... it will get torn faster than you can say anything........ and besides the thought seriously counts a LOT!!!
sheŽll love it!!

How neat is that!! What a great idea! Another suggestion is use the Sunday comics for wrapping paper.

Chris I think that's a fantastic idea, I would have ever thought of that!
It looks great, front and back:D She'll love it!

You'll be the coolest grandma in town! ;)

It looks wonderful Chris. :D I am sure your granddaughter will absolutely love it. Who cares what the back looks like!

Nothing wrong with your wrapping job at all & it looks great. It might last
all of 2 mins before she opens it anyway. :D Great idea you had to make
your own paper.

Thanks! :D
As you all predicted Dannielle did like it. Mint was the word used, which I believe in current youth speak means great :D
