I am a sled dog!!!...by Tehya with pics

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PT

I am very excited. I had my best adventure yet tonight! Mom came outside and started up that noisy machine. All the other dogs went crazy. I had no clue what was going on and then Mom came and got me.

She put me on this little short chain. I wasn't so sure what to make of that. Last time I was chained up was at my first house and I chewed myself loose and never went back there. I want to stay here!

But Mom put some other dogs on those little chains too so I didn't freak out. Anvik seemed pretty happy about the whole situation. Did you hear him screaming at Mom to hurry up!? He was LOUD.

Then we got moved in front the noisy machine and Mom said "Let's go". All the other dogs started going forward. It took me about a nanosecond to figure this part out...I lean into the harness thing Mom put on my and I run forward! Totally fun!

We went down the trail to the lake and the camp place. I got to run beside Pacer. He is a very good sled dog! Mom says I ROCKED! I kept my lines tight, I was working my little tail off! Mom says I am the best babydog sled dog ever! (She calls me her babydog!)

We stopped for a little rest a couple times.

When we got home, we all got nice, fresh water to drink and some meat for our dinner.

Haha, it looks like Mom finally found a way to burn off that puppy energy, I bet Anvik says "thanks Mom" for that. :) It sounds like a great day, Tehya, and I am pretty sure you are going to have many more. Congratulations, sweetie, you are on your way to many great adventures.
