What a coincidence that you posted that Chris as I was looking at it yesterday and thinking I should have gotten a picture!
I find it very interesting too.
Mike & I were walking around at a local community college yesterday and I noticed that. I told Mike to look up at it and he thought it was weird to see that during the day.
Cool pics. I have always wondered how the moon shows up during the day. I might look that up on Google sometime. I have also always wodered why i save every cool picture that i see on mu Hard Drive like i just dod with the third pic lol.
I see it all time here! Nature is truly fascinating at times, isn't it? Love the first pic!
Nothing gets Jonah going in the morning so much as seeing the moon AND the sun in the sky at the same time.
I see the moon during the late morning or early evening quite often!
Go here, it explains why!

NOW i understand why!!!
A morning moon is a waning moon.
The moon grows fat in the afternoon.
The new moon shares the sky with the sun,
And the full won't share it with anyone.
(ask an amateur astronomer!)
