Tuxies are taking over!
Black and white cats are becoming just like the pure black cat and not being adopted quickly.

Jen, I have noticed that in the past 2 season there have been tons of B&Ws in the litters. It's strange how they have sort of taken over. You know how I love the B&Ws ... ever since I got my RB baby Tucker Man!!! I only have my tux boy Boots now though. I hope they aren't getting overlooked because they are so "common" now ... but it sure is looking that way. :(
I hope that there will be a lot of Tuxie lovers so they'll all find their purrfect forever homes.:) Today when I was at Butchies,which is an independent pet store, there were 2 very cute black kittens. They loved to meow at people to get their attention. I sure hope they too will find their loving forever homes.
It's Tuxie Time! LOVE me some tuxie; my Archy is a lover in every sense of the word. Tuxies just look so sweet and unassuming.

Why do you suppose that's the case w/tuxies, that they're not being adopted? My first real rescue was Peeka, a tuxie. They're so beautiful.
That Is Odd That There Are So Many Tuxedoes Who Need Homes.
Is It Because Tuxedos Are More Populous Than The Other Breeds Or That Theres No Demand. That Would Be A Shame As Tuxedoes Are Very Friendly Cats And Make Truly Wonderful Companions.
The Found Paradise Hotel Cats Are Praying That There Are Homes At The End Of The Rainbow For These And All Pets Who Need Them.
Of the 11 I have in my house, 3 are tuxies and 3 are solid blacks. I have a special affinity for tuxies and black cats. We did have one more tuxie but we lost him. Tuxedos have the most unique personalities, I think and so many people are afraid of black cats. I just love my guys.
Ever since we found the kittens in the back yard last fall I've paid more attention to the tuxies for adoption at the petstores and it does seem like there are several. Moxie, her sister Twinkle Toes and their mom are all tuxies.
Is it that there are so many Jen or that you are a bit partial to them? ;)
That picture of Cameo looks so much like Moxie I had to backup and make sure you hadn't stolen my little girl, lol.

As most of you already know, my Groucho is a black and white. He's so sweet and affectionate not to mention a real character. While I love each and every kitty I see, I am partial to tuxies. Jen, could you have caught "tuxie fever"?
