Got Great Pics at the Duck Pond

Today I took Kalypso out to the duck pond in town and it was fun, I got some good pics of the ducks, and well Kalypso....she prooved the true meaning of 'scaredy cat.'

And Kalypso was on my shoulder the whole time she was so scared. I decided to try and put her down to see if she'd not be too scared, but she right quickly ran behind my legs.

And here she is on my shoulder. She was very good at staying on my shoulder, I didn't have to hold her or anything, I walked everywhere and she just stayed up there.

Look at those ducks. The mom and babies, especially in swimming formation, what great photos!

Poor Kalypso! She is just a kitten still and she KNOWS mom ducks can be MEAN!

If you do that often, I suggest you get her used to a harness and leash. You can get a retractable leash, or just tie lengths of rope together. But as she gets older, you could have her tearing off after "lunch!" :D

Thanks for the compliments of the pictures:D And don't worry, there was a leash on Kalypso at all times, even when she was on my shoulder the leash was wrapped around my arm so if she ever did decide to jump or run she wouldn't be able to go anywhere. I would never take her out without a leash on her.

Such cute pictures - of the ducks and Kalypso! The silly cat. :p It was a fun time there.
