Lake Orion, MI Bark Park - Saturday, June 30th
For Kia's 9th birthday, I'll be taking the pups over to Lake Orion's Bark Park. So far the weather looks like it'll be nice... 77 degrees and sunny. :)
We're planning to get out there around Noon.
If anyone would like to join us, please chime in.
I wasn't really planning a large affair like in the past, but if enough people plan to show up, we could bring out the grill and a small cake. :cool:

FYI: They raised the rates of the daily pass for non-residents. $12 per car per day: Regular rate
They've enlarged the Bark Park in the past year or so. It used to be only Area B. Now they've added A & C as well as two small dog areas. Other improvements include a larger parking lot and restrooms.

The Red Star is ON the Dog Park Entrance -
off Joslyn Road; a bit south of W. Clarkston Road.
It's about mid-way between Flint and Detroit;
about 8-10 miles due north of downtown Pontiac, Michigan.
Here's the directions from Interstate 75:
1) Get off I-75 at: the JOSLYN RD exit- EXIT 83.
2) Turn NORTH on Joslyn Road & drive 4.2 miles on Joslyn.
3) Dog Park Entrance is on the LEFT (west) side of the road.
If you get to W. Clarkston Rd or pass an Elementary School
on the right - you went a bit too far.
You CAN park in the Elementary School Lot - the NEW Bark Park Entrance
is just across the road from the school.
