These were taken on my vacation a couple weeks ago. Let me go ahead and say that there are some closeups of butterfly "faces" (haha) and caterpillars, so if they give you the heebie jeebies, don't look!

Caterpillar eating ... I had to take this shot about 20 times before I figured I may have gotten one in focus. He kept moving, and the depth of field on this lens is very narrow. But patience is a virtue you have to have when you're dealing with animals that don't follow commands, haha!

Since lizards eat butterflies, the ladies that were volunteering at the house had told us if we saw any to tell them so they could catch them. My dad saw this little guy and caught him. He was very small, just a baby, which I guess you can kinda see by the size of my dad's fingers!
