New puppy, Ranger

Just wanted to post we got a new puppy. His name is Ranger and he was about 8-9 weeks old when we got him on April 14th. The attached pics are from his first days home. He has gained about 7 pounds and a few inches since that time.

I didn't think we would get a new pup after Rose died, but my partner picked him up at the local adoption day event and that was that. There are signs from Rose on this new pup - he has freckles on his right front leg, and her puppy name was Freckles. He also has little marks on his toes that look like "false toenails" - Rose had those, too. So I think he was meant to be a part of our family.

Ranger is the happiest little dog and brings us a lot of joy.

Oh my, he is HANDSOME! Look at those markings! What a happy face, too.
