HI WATSON!
Today's DOTD features two of my favorites ~ flowers and dogs! And not just any dog, a very special black and tan dog. :D
Watson, you are so handsome and such a sweet boy. I'm sure you're one of the best pick-me-ups for your mom, just like my 4 pups are for me. :D

Good morning to you precious Watson and heartfelt congratulations on your Dog of the Day honors, sweetheart! You truly are an angel of a pup Watson, sent from heaven above to watch over your Mom; to comfort her, give her strength and help her heal. What a blessing you are! :) She lists a few of the reasons why you are so extra special (brought tears to my eyes) but I have a feeling she has only touched on how truly special you are!!! :) Every human should be so lucky as she, to have a devoted best friend such as you, to share in a bond of unconditional as deep as yours and hers. Congratulations to you beautiful Watson! May you and your Mom enjoy a lifetime of happy, peaceful love filled years together, romping through fields of bluebells with the sun in your faces and joy in your hearts! Watson, your photo and story made me smile, smile, smile today! How wonderful that you have been able to give your mom comfort and love at times when she has needed it greatly. There are many black and tan dogs on Pet Talk and they are all much loved - I can tell that you are too! I agree with LHCamry - I hope that you and your mom will have a long and happy life together. And with husky_mom - it would be fun to see many more pictures of you!!! Happy Dog of the Day, sweety!

I've rarely if ever commented on Dog of the Day, but as some other people have said, his story did truly bring tears to my eyes. Watson deserves all those flowers and more. The other two pets of today are obviously very, very loved as well. For the comfort they bring, these stories prove once again how important our pets are. Beyond measure is the value they bring to the care of the human soul.
Watson, the words your mommy wrote about you brought tears to my eyes! What a blessing you have been to her through the years. They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and when I first saw your face, I could see in your eyes right away what a sweet, gentle soul you are. Congratulations on being Dog of the Day!
