Allie left for the RB 5/12 :(

Allie is my boyfriend, Joe's Golden. She was sent to the Bridge on 5/12. She has been battling cancer for a while. She was given 3 months to live in August. Allie was the sweetest girl you'd ever want to meet. I have posted about her before. I'm really sorry they all had to go through that. The only saving grace is that she is no longer sick and in pain and suffering, but you all are. I'm sorry for the loss of such a sweet girl. My prayers are with you all for comfort in your hearts.

What a valiant fight she gave. I'm so sorry. I know her family must miss her terribly. Rest peacefully, Allie. You're no longer in pain.

Val took the words right out of my mouth. What a fighter!!!!! I'm so sorry Allie is gone, but I'm glad she stayed longer than expected. I know you guys worked hard to make sure that each and every day was special for her.

I am so sorry to hear of Allie's passing.She now has no pain and play and can play and run free with the other dogs up around the Rainbow Bridge.Maybe she will see Ruffles and my dad up there having a walk or just plain old playing like he used to.My deepest sympathy to you and everyone,must be feeling a bit sad.It is hard to get over a loss like this,but it will gradually get better.

I'm so sorry she's gone.. all I can do is echo everyone else here... she was such a brave fighter!

I pray you all take comfort in knowing her health has been restored and she is running and playing again like a puppy!

In many ways, Allie was such a lucky dog. If I read the other thread properly, this is her THIRD time with cancer. Only a dedicated owner could help her put up the fight over and over, and share the joy and fun of a dog in between times. She was allowed to be herself and play and romp for so many years because she had such grand owners. RIP Allie, and hugs to you and boyfriend Joe.

I am sorry to hear that Allie is no longer with us. I know how much Joe, you and his family are hurting right now. Obviously she was a very loved and well cared for girl to have lasted so long. Run free Allie. {{{Hugs}}}
