Rain and Maybelline (5-16-07)

Maybelline continues to amaze me with her strength. Not only is she still alive but she actually ate out of the bowl this morning! Unbelievable. The photos cannot show you just how skinny and fragile she is. She is all fur, no body, but she survives. Prayers are a marvelous thing. Continue to keep her in your thoughts.

Rain is doing quite well. He prefers the bottle over the bowl, bu that's OK.

The one attached phot is not the best quality, but it shows how maybelline (in the background) is so tiny.

Awwww, they both are so sweet. I think someone's in love with a little Maybelline! I think a certain foster mom is going to have a hard time letting her go once the time comes :D

Keep up the great work of caring for these two little babies.

OMG. She is adorable and I just love her name. I am sending her good vibes so that she'll eat & eat.

Awww! So cute! I'm happy Rain and Maybelline are doing so well. I knew they had it in them. Pretty soon, they'll be big, strong, fat (and spoiled!) cats :) And just to make an observation...that Rain looks like he's going to be the troublemaker of the two. You can see it in his eyes ;)

Maybelline is sooo precious as is Rain!!
We here will continue to send songs of improvement for the both of them!!!

More promising news about Maybelline......She sucked the bottle AND ate more out of the food bowl ON HER OWN all day today!! No force feeding (like all day yesterday)

She may not be "out of the woods" but she sure is trying. :)

I dont know if you have tried the Bay Kitten Food from Royal Canin Jen but the Ladies at Animal Welfare ofetn use it with Wet Kitten Food on thier Kittens.
And JJJ3 loves it.
We are praying harder than ever for Rain and Maybelline and we know that the Momma Pet Angels are there too transmitting thier warmth and love.

That little girl has spirit! Not only is she eating she is playing and trying to run (she's still a little weak in the hind legs), she scratches on the post, mimicking her brother, and giving herself a bath. I am certain that anything could still happen (turn for the worse) but for now, she is getting stronger! What a happy girl! :)

Rain is just a hoot! He runs and he attempts everything. He's a little purr-box.

What encouraging news! Hang in there little girl! They are just adorable! Gosh, it's been a long time since I was around any that tiny!

These tiny little fuzzies are so full of life! I wish so much they survive!

Oh my! Maybelline sure does have spunk! I hope she continues to thrive and starts to put on some weight - they are both SO cute.

What do you have her on? Anything? She needs to be on Clavamox if you have any........????/
