Prairie dogs

Does anyone have a Prairie Dog? Will these little guys ever be legal to sell / obtain in the USA again?

Most likely no. Unfortunately. They are cute little buggers! You can't even have Richardson's ground squirrels anymore either. So sad.

One person on the boards has one though. I think his name is Wyatt? Correct me if I'm wrong. :o

It's just anti exotic politics. Bunnies got the monkey pox to but they aren't banned. Just stopping the import of african rodents was enough protections. Any animals here can't get it otherwise.

I know, stupid idiots!!! And to think that there for a couple of months they wanted to ban rabbits too! I mean, they considered it deeply...so stupid! :mad: :rolleyes:

It's a shame, my girlfriend always wanted one and it seems she'll never get one. I don't see why they are still illegal... Oh well :(
