Arn't you just a MARVELOUS looking fellow!!!! You seem like such a charecter!!! I bet you are just the biggest fun to have around!!! I just loved all of your stories, espically the christmas tree one!! I know you bring smiles to so many faces as you did mine and you are one VERY deserving COTD!!! I wish I could play with you, I just love playful cats. You sound a lot like my Juni, she likes to play fetch too (esp. late in the evenings ;) ) and open doors and cabinets (sometimes she tries to open even the fridge). She fights the Xmass tree and steals the ornaments too.

The more I read about Egyptian Maus, the more wonderful they sound! You are a beautiful cat, and your little antics were a delight to read. I laughed when I read about how you helped your owner put all the ornaments by her door ;)

I come back from my most recent round of travel, my belly full of Yukon River king salmon and my skin tanned from Yukon River sun and what do I find? I log onto Cat of the Day and the very first cat I see has been likened to a dog! This, as we all know from my past lectures on the subject, is just not right!

Still, I can see that Kato is not only a cat of tremendous energy and warmth, full of fun and highly intelligent, but also one with a great sense of self-confidence and worth and so I feel confident that his ego will withstand such blows and he will go on to live a highly productive, rambunctious and contented life.
