Flea meets his sheltie siblings...(pics)...

We decided to let Flea meet the shelties on Thursday. I want him to get used to them as soon as possible. I had put a bed that the sogs usually sleep in in the room so he could get used to the smell of them.

I brought Emily in first and put her in a downstay. My boyfriend Cam held Flea until I got Emily settled and then put him down on the floor.

I picked him up and brought him over to Emily's head. He was very brave and sniffed her paw.

That seemed like a good first experience so we switched dogs.

After letting him sniff Clipse from behind I moved him to Clipse's head.

I'm thinking the reason he was more scared of Clipse is because Clipse actually tried to sniff him, where as Emily didn't care one way or the other. We let him calm down and watch Clipse from behind the chair and then we took Clipse out of the room. All in all I think it was a good first experience.

You can see that Fleas a little nervous but I think we would be as well meeting a Giant.
But I have a feeling that there will be some curling up Photos soon!!

Flea sure is a cutie pie.:) I'm sure that they'll all get along eventually but it will just take some time. Good luck.:)

Could little Flea possibly be any cuter? What a sweet little face! I do hope that Flea realizes that tails are not toys, especially when that tail belongs to one of his doggy sibs. Great pictures, from the looks of the initial introductions your furkids will get on just fine!

What cute pictures and captions! Congratulations on your adorable new addition. The intros look like they went well. Actually the shelties seemed more interested in posing for the camera. :) I think they will all do well and am looking forward to updates. :)

I was noticing in the pictures that Emily didn't even show any interest in Flea. But then Clipse was curious. They will eventually all get along and you will be one big happy family. :D

I am so impressed with Emily and Clipse!! Emily didn't even move! What a good girl she is!! I was almost wondering if she was a statue! ;)

Flea is just the cutest little guy! I love the puffy tail and the arched back like "I am tiger, hear me roar!" as he hissed at Clipse! How hysterical is that!

Good doggies! And Flea is such a little doll! He looks about flea-sized in that big bed. :D

Flea is just the cutest. And your dogs are so wonderful - just sitting there being calm and trying not to scare the little Flea-Man.
They will be snuggle buddies soon! We can tell.

AAAAAWWWWWW Little Flea is sooooooooooo cute and what beautiful dogs you have. I can't get over how still Emily was. Flea didn't fizz on her at all.
I'm sure it won't be long when we will be seeing pictures of Flea sleeping with one or both of the dogs.
