arthritis information

I thought that I would share this information, my parents 15 year-old wired haired terrior was plagued by arthritis in his back legs. He could no longer hold himself up long enough to use the restroom. We built ramps for in and out the door and to the bed where he slept. The situation was bad. He was in constant pain that was very apparent. We found a wonderful drug that can be bought for a reasonable price over the internet, the product is called Arthrimine, it is glucosamine based. It is cheaper than rimadyl which must be purchased through your vet, though we have found that it works better and faster than rimadyl. Snoopy was up and about just as he was as a pup again. We just put a scoop in his food everynight.

There is a very simmilar 'drug' out there called Pet Rescue that I found works wonders. It may even be cheaper, I'm not sure. But you don't have to go through the vet with this stuff either.

Does it give the side effects ? The ones with Rimdal are not good (my opinion) Can it be used on cats? We have one starting to show signs of it in his back.

I am not sure about cats, I have seen no side affects of the arthromine besides that Snoopy can wlak, run, play and is pain-free.
